‘Bark in the Park – A Doggy Expo’ returns to Ocala Downtown Market this weekend

The Senior Resource Foundation of Ocala is inviting the community to attend its 3rd annual Bark in the Park – A Doggy Expo on Sunday, October 15, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ocala Downtown Market.

The free event is open to the public, and it will include pet adoptions, a dog costume contest, food trucks, music, and demonstrations.

“Both dogs and kids of all ages will enjoy a fun-filled day!” stated the Senior Resource Foundation of Ocala in a social media post.

Those in attendance will also be able to check out a variety of vendors, including Angie Lewis (State Farm Agent), ASB Financial, Big Sun Fencing, Brick City Bark Park, Campus USA, Canterfield of Ocala, Devoted Health, Doggie Dash, Douglas Law Firm, Freedom Health, Great Expectation Realty, Guided Medicare Solutions, Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Heart of Florida Health Center, Hospice of Marion County, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Marion County Animal Services, Marion Senior Services, Marion-Alachua Training Facility, Maricamp Animal Hospital, Petsense, Pulse Pluse, Sandy Paws Bakery, Stretch Zone, Tate & Associates – United Healthcare, and WellCare.

All proceeds from the three-hour event will benefit Marion Senior Services and Marion County Animal Services.
