The video posted by Dominguez was viewed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and they immediately notified the Gainesville Police Department.

After conducting an investigation, GPD learned that Dominguez lived within an unincorporated area of Alachua County. He was located and arrested in the 1700 block of NE 23rd Avenue in Gainesville.

The sheriff’s office stated that a search warrant was obtained for Dominguez’s residence, and “additional evidence” was collected.

Dominguez was transported to Alachua County Jail where he is currently being held on $2 million bond. He is being charged with making a written or electronic threat to kill (one count) and terrorism (one count).

A court date has not been scheduled yet, according to jail records.

The Gainesville Police Department and Alachua County Sheriff’s Office both stated in social media posts that this case is “a great example of law enforcement working together to protect our children and community.”
