In loving memory of Lloyd Switzer, who passed away on April 5, 2024. Born on December 28, 1945, in Lakeview, Michigan, to Paul and Guyrah Switzer, Lloyd’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and selflessness.
Lloyd retired from General Motors in Lansing, Michigan, after dedicating years of hard work and commitment to his profession. He also served his country as a veteran of the army, embodying principles of duty and honor throughout his service.
Outside of his professional and military life, Lloyd found joy in simple pleasures. He enjoyed spending time in his yard, attending classic car shows, and going to concerts in The Villages.
One of Lloyd’s greatest joys was traveling across the country and visiting theme parks with his loved ones. Whether exploring new destinations or revisiting cherished memories, he found fulfillment in experiencing life’s adventures alongside his family and friends.
Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife, Judy, children, Karen (Steve) and Heather (Steven), and grandchildren, Mark and Evan (Raven), and great granddaughter, Rosabell, who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. He also leaves behind his brother, Dick (Nancy), and sister, Pat (Dave), who will cherish his memory dearly.
A private service for immediate family members will be held on April 23. at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 5740 South Pine Ave in Ocala. Providing an opportunity to celebrate Lloyd’s life and honor the profound impact he had on those around him.
