David E. Weaver, 65, passed away on April 3rd, 2024, at 2:12 am, surrounded by family. Born on January 22nd, 1959, to Gwendolyn Harrison and David Weaver.
He was preceded in death by his parents. David, a retired disabled veteran from the Navy and the Federal Bureau of Prisons, was deeply committed to his family and communities. He dedicated himself to various community services including Meals on Wheels in Ocala, FL, serving as the Commander at the VFW Post #7193, and as a Mason brother at Post St. John’s Lodge #26, American Legion Post #1 in Williamsport, PA. He was also the head Deacon at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Ocala, FL.
Survived by his wife, Willie Mae Weaver, married since January 5th, 1981, in Freehold, NJ, he leaves behind four children, Gwendolyn.W, Danielle.W, Brionia.W, and Williemae.W, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. David is also survived by his 5 siblings, along with two aunts, two uncles, and numerous in-laws, relatives, and friends.
