Robert Marcel Rodriguez, age 46, of Ocala, Florida, went to heaven to be with the Lord
and his Fiancé Amanda Meador, the love of his life. Robert was discharged from the
hospital and transferred to Timber Ridge, a healthcare and assisted living facility in
Ocala, FL, to complete his health care. Robert passed away at his parent’s home the
day after his discharge from Timber Ridge on May 17, 2024.

Robert was living in Deland, Florida, with his fiancé, Amanda Meador, who also passed
away from influenza A on March 22, 2024. Robert also ended up in the hospital with
influenza A, blood clots, heart condition, and breathing issues.

While Robert was in the hospital, he went into a deep depression and was very
heartbroken, and he was never the same after her passing.

Robert Rodriguez was born in the Bronx, New York, at Jacobi Hospital on February 14, 1978 Robert lived in the Bronx until the age of eight years old. Robert and his parents
relocated to Miami, Florida, in 1985. He also lived in the Treasure Coast, Ocala, and
Deland, Florida.

Robert went to South Florida International Academy and graduated from high school in
North Miami, Florida. Robert also went to school in Jacksonville, FL to train and
become a CDL driver and after his graduation, he received his CDL license. Robert
after graduation, got his first job working with the sanitation department in the Treasure
Coast.

Robert had several different hobbies as a young man; he loved sports and he loved
music. Robert played several different instruments, like the guitar, bass, and drums.
Robert also had a talent for writing songs and music. Robert was part of a band called
Murder My Sweet, where he played bass and guitar. Robert was a very gifted musician.
His band performed in many clubs and festivals.

Robert is survived by his mother, Lillian Rodriguez, and his father, Robert Rodriguez, his
grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Funeral services and viewing for Robert will be held at Roberts of Ocala West Chapel,
6241 SW State Road 200, Ocala, Florida 34476.
