Patrick Jeffrey Shannon passed away May 22, 2024 at Solaris Healthcare Cornerstone Hospice. Patrick was born in Akron, Ohio November 23, 1947.
He served in the
United States Marine Corp and deployed to Vietnam in 1965. He is also a Purple Heart recipient.
Patrick enjoyed his family and friends and loved motorcycles, but his biggest passion was fishing and he had quite the collection of fishing poles and tackle.
He is survived by his sisters Christine Stevenson (Deland, FL), Angie Pettigrew (Mark) Deland,
FL, Donna Shannon Knittel (Seldon) Mesa, AZ. Nieces Jennifer Stevenson-Hall (Scott) Debary,
FL, Kyla Riordan (Orlando, FL) Kelsy Russell (Mandeville, LA), Cyndi Tusing (Cody) Gunnison,
CO, Alys Pettigrew (Deadwood, OR). Nephews: Gavin Stevenson (DeBary, FL), Robert (Bobby) Stevenson (Deltona, FL), Ben Stevenson (Beth) Deltona, FL
Patrick will be missed by his many friends and family. He will forever be in our hearts and
memories.

with honors will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery,
6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL . A luncheon will follow at the American Legion Post 101,
2991 E. C. 48, Bushnell.
