A new restaurant specializing in poké bowls, ramen, and bubble tea recently opened along Ocala’s busiest highway.
Located at 3131 SW College Road #406, in the College Park Plaza across from Paddock Mall, Poké Go celebrated its grand opening on June 7.
The restaurant’s menu includes the option to “build your own poké bowl,” with multiple proteins (chicken, salmon, tuna, shrimp, squid, vegetarian) to choose from. The protein is then added to a base (white rice, brown rice, purple rice, organic mixed greens), and customers can also choose from an assortment of additional ingredients.
The menu also features a variety of ramen dishes, several rice bowls, and appetizers that include takoyaki, chicken wings, spring rolls, miso soup, seaweed salad, and shrimp tempura, to list a few.
There are plenty of beverages on the menu, including bubble milk teas, fruit and iced fruit teas, fresh fruit teas, and smoothies. Customers can also add toppings to their drink, such as mango popping boba or lychee jelly.
Poké Go is open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, with extended hours (11 a.m. to 10 p.m.) on Friday and Saturday. The business is closed on Sunday.
In the past few years, Ocala has seen the addition of several restaurants that primarily feature Asian American cuisine.
Approximately one mile away from Poké Go, Kluck Chicken recently opened a new restaurant that serves Chinese food, fried chicken, and bubble tea.
Across the street from Kluck Chicken, K-POT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot opened its new restaurant in the former Logan’s Roadhouse in October of 2023.
Last February, Zuru Ramen and Boba opened a new restaurant within the Market Street at Heathbrook shopping plaza.
In 2020, Ramen House opened a new boba tea and ramen shop at the intersection of SW College Road and SW 27th Avenue.
