Three Six Bistro, a new restaurant featuring a celebrity chef’s “modernist culinary philosophy and cuisine,” is now open in Ocala.
Located at 3751 SE 36th Avenue, the restaurant celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday, July 10, replacing Connotto’s, a sandwich shop that closed its doors just a few months after opening.

Three Six Bistro is owned by chef Sean Langan, who has started several successful restaurants in the northwestern United States.
Langan’s previous success stories include Flavour Bistro and Amore, both of which were established in the state of Washington. Over the years, Langan grew in fame for both his recipes and impact on the local community in Washington.

Now, Langan is bringing those recipes to Ocala. According to the company’s website, the new restaurant uses “scratch recipes” and an “innovative style” to create “three-dimensional” pieces of art in appearance, aroma, and taste.

The menu features a variety appetizers, including several that are seafood-based. That includes crab fondue, coconut clams, and a seafood empanada, which is filled with scallops, bay shrimp, crab, and lobster.

The list of entrees includes duck, pork tenderloin, filet mignon, lobster tail, wild boar ribs, sesame-crusted tuna, and a Wagyu burger.

According to the menu, the restaurant will also offer a few brunch options that include eggs, fruit and yogurt, and a pork belly hash bowl.
Three Six Bistro serves dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, with extended hours (5 p.m. to 10 p.m.) on Friday and Saturday.
On its website, the restaurant states that brunch is also served on Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
