Multiple ramp and lane closures will be in place along Interstate 75 this week as construction crews continue making improvements to major interchanges at County Road 484 and State Road 200.
According to the Florida Department of Transportation, a ramp closure from CR 484 to northbound Interstate 75 will be in effect each night through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for signal pole and mast arm installation.
Additionally, every night through Friday, November 1, periodic northbound and southbound lane closures will be in effect for stretches of I-75 between Exit 350 (SR 200) and Exit 341 (CR 484).
Those closures will also be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and are being put in effect for paving on the interstate.
The closures are part of multiple FDOT projects that call for the complete resurfacing of Interstate 75 along dozens of miles of the highway through Sumter and Marion County.
In addition to resurfacing, the projects also call for the reconstruction of existing median crossovers, as well as updates to guardrails where necessary and minor drainage work.
