Firefighters were dispatched to an abandoned home in Ocala early Friday morning after a passerby saw flames rising from the property.
According to Ocala Fire Rescue, multiple units responded to a one-story home located in the 4000 block of NW Blitchton Road at around 1:50 a.m. on Friday, January 24.
When OFR crews arrived at the house, they observed flames and heavy smoke pouring from all the windows.
Firefighters quickly established a water supply, which was used to extinguish the flames. Crew members then searched the interior of the home and determined that it was vacant at the time of the fire.
There were no injuries reported.
No further details were provided by OFR regarding the cause of the blaze.
