The Silver Springs Shores Community Center will host a free family fishing day this weekend with boats, kayaks, and live bait.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 15, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the center, which is located at 590 Silver Road in Ocala.
Family Fishing Day is free and open to the community. Children 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
All equipment will be provided, including boats, kayaks, and live bait, according to organizers. Visitors are welcome to bring their own equipment for use as well.
