To the Editor:
I bought an Airwick diffuser for $9.99 from a local Walmart. I really liked it, so 4 days later, I went back to get another one and the price had increased to $14.99.
That’s a huge increase in just 4 days. Of course it made me mad, so I didn’t buy another one.
Our leaders are saying that the tariffs will make America rich and that’s great, but what about the people who live here?
It’s certainly not going to make us rich. Just the opposite.
Inflation was already bad enough. I’m glad I’m not going to need a car any time soon.
