The city’s park rangers will host a Full Moon Night Hike at the Fort King National Historic Landmark and Visitor’s Center this weekend.
The night hike will take place on Saturday, August 9, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fort King National Historic Landmark, which is located at 3925 E Fort King St. in Ocala.
Visitors will hear stories around the campfire after enjoying a short, 0.7-mile hike through the trails.
Participants are encouraged to bring suitable footwear, insect repellent, and a flashlight or headlamp.
This program is free for all ages, and registration is not required.
