To the Editor:
Restaurants in Ocala are plentiful but sometimes, the restaurants that serve the very best food are ignored and waste away in favor of what Ocalans like more: Chain restaurants.
Le Petit Jardin, Copper Kettle, Carmichael’s, and Kotobuki are all examples of great food that soured on the vine.
Shockingly, chain restaurants like Miller’s Ale House, Longhorn, and Chick-fil-A enjoy unstoppable patronage. As sophisticated as Ocala touts itself, it’s a shame its residents don’t put their money where their mouths are.
