The city will host a day trip for senior residents of Marion County who are interested in seeing manatees in their natural habitat.
The trip will be on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The boat tour of Crystal River Preserve State Park will take place on Thursday, September 25, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour will allow visitors to spot manatees, birds, and encounter beautiful sceneries.
Those seeking to attend will meet at the Eighth Avenue Adult Activity Center, located at 830 NE eighth Avenue in Ocala.
The cost to participate is $25, which includes the cost of transportation and admission. Food will be available for purchase separately.
