The city will host a holiday movie screening of Elf at Tuscawilla Park this week.
The event begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 12, at the park, which is located at 800 NE Sanchez Ave. in Ocala.
The movie focuses about Buddy who was raised as an oversized elf, Buddy travels from the North Pole to New York City to meet his biological father, Walter Hobbs, who doesn’t know he exists and is in desperate need of some Christmas spirit.
The screening is free and open to the public. Those in attendance are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.
Snacks, popcorn, and other refreshments will also be available for purchase.
