Ocala and Marion County residents are invited to celebrate the holiday season through creativity and connection in a hands-on weaving workshop.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, December 13, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Heart of the Park at Tuscawilla, which is located at 516 NE Sanchez Ave. in Ocala.
Artist practitioners Shannon Kelly and Jasmine Laska will hold the program. They will show participants how to use simple materials and a cardboard loom to create a unique woven artwork.
The workshop is free and open to all individuals ages 7 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
No prior experience is needed.
