To the Editor:
In the past year, a new Dollar General popped up across U.S. Highway 301 from NE 175th Street Road.
Since then, there have been multiple vehicle collisions at this intersection, just as there were prior to this new building.
I was told there would be a survey crew looking at this intersection while Dollar General was being built to assess what was needed for future development regarding stop signs or lights.
Absolutely nothing was done.
This intersection is extremely dangerous and a traffic light needs to be installed as soon as possible.
My calls and emails go unanswered.
My property tax has doubled in the past year.
Please put my money to good use and protect the citizens around this quagmire intersection before there is a death on your hands.
Be proactive, not reactive.
