A 60-year-old man was arrested for indecent exposure after he allegedly entered an occupied bathroom at an Ocala laundromat, exposed himself to a child, and urinated in the sink.

On Monday, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office corporal responded to Senor Bubbles Laundromat located at 4185 W Highway 40 in Ocala after receiving reports that a man had “exposed his penis” to a young boy. The arrest report stated that the incident occurred inside the men’s restroom, which had a single toilet and sink.

The boy advised that he was using the bathroom when a man, later identified as Nathan Thomas Massey, opened the door and began walking in. According to the boy’s statement, he told Massey to “get out,” but Massey allegedly proceeded to enter the bathroom, with the door closing behind him.

The report stated that the boy was “afraid” because he was “alone in the restroom with (Massey).” The boy did not know Massey, and he advised that he kept telling Massey to leave.

While in the bathroom, Massey allegedly exposed his penis in full view of the boy before urinating in the sink. When Massey was done, he exited the bathroom, and the boy stated that he remained inside while sending text messages to his mother regarding the incident, according to the report.

In the report, the corporal mentioned that the boy’s mother soon arrived at the restroom and found him inside.

A witness who was near the restroom area reported seeing a man, Massey, exit the restroom around the time of the incident.

The corporal made contact with Massey, who was sitting on a bench outside the laundromat. After being read his Miranda rights, Massey claimed that he was “diabetic” and “had a sudden urge to have to urinate,” according to the report.

Massey further told the corporal that he entered the bathroom and saw that the boy was inside. He claimed that he “really had to go [to the bathroom],” and he allegedly admitted to “removing his penis from his shorts” and “urinating in the sink” in front of the boy.

Following the interview, Massey was placed under arrest and booked into Marion County Jail. He was released on his own recognizance that same day, and he was charged with indecent exposure of sexual organs.

Massey is scheduled to appear in court at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, according to the report.
