The city will host an “After Dark in the Park” movie screening of Soul this week at Tuscawilla Park.
The event begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 13, at the park, which is located at 800 NE Sanchez Ave. in Ocala.
The movie focuses on Joe, a middle-school band teacher whose life hasn’t quite gone the way he expected. His true passion is jazz. When he travels to another realm to help someone find their passion, he soon discovers what it means to have soul.
The screening is free and open to the public. Those in attendance are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Popcorn will be available.
