A 61-year-old Marion County man is behind bars after videos depicting the sexual abuse of children and a dog were allegedly uploaded to his Verizon cloud account.
Back in December of 2025, a subsidiary of Verizon reported that an individual, identified as Anthony resident Scott Bradley Adkins, had allegedly used one of his electronic devices to upload a video of a young girl engaging in a sexual act with a man, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
An MCSO corporal mentioned in the report that Adkins’ phone number was associated with the Verizon account in question, and a search warrant was obtained for his account in late January of 2026.
On Monday, February 16, 2026, the corporal “reviewed the contents of the search warrant,” which included data from Adkins’ Verizon account spanning “numerous years of time.” The corporal noted that “numerous images of (Adkins) and his activities over these years were uploaded,” which corroborated his identity and confirmed that he was in possession of his cellphone.
The report stated that during a search of Adkins’ account, the corporal located the following files that were allegedly uploaded by Adkins between December 11, 2025, and December 15, 2025:
- Several videos, ranging in length from 76 seconds to over seven minutes, that depicted a man raping a “prepubescent female.”
- A nearly three-minute video depicting an “early-pubescent female” being forced to engage in a sexual act with a man.
- A 45-second video of a male dog engaging in a sexual act with a “(female) human.”
As a result of the investigation, the corporal determined that Adkins was “an intentional child pornographer” who had “upload(ed) videos of children being sexually abused over a period of time,” according to the report.
Adkins was arrested and booked into Marion County Jail on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, where he remains in custody without bond. He is being charged with five counts of possessing child pornography and one count of possessing material depicting sexual activities with an animal.
A court date for Adkins has not been scheduled yet, according to jail records.
