An Ocala woman has had her registered pharmacy technician license suspended by the Florida Board of Pharmacy after state officials determined she misrepresented her criminal history when applying for the certification.
On March 5, the Florida Department of Health filed a final order suspending the license of Jayda Krueger.
According to an administrative complaint filed in October 2025, Krueger submitted an application to the Board of Pharmacy on December 28, 2023.
The complaint states that Krueger answered “No” to a question asking if she had ever been convicted of, or entered a plea of guilty or nolo contendere to, any crime other than a minor traffic offense. The application specifically noted that driving under the influence (DUI) is not considered a minor traffic offense.
On January 4, 2024, Krueger’s application to receive a registered pharmacy technician license was approved.
However, court records show that in September 2016, Krueger entered a plea of nolo contendere to one count of DUI impairment in Marion County.
The Board of Pharmacy determined that Krueger’s negative answer regarding her criminal history constituted a misrepresentation, which is grounds for disciplinary action under Florida Statutes.
Under the terms of the suspension, Krueger must undergo an evaluation by the Professionals Resource Network (PRN) and comply with any resulting recommendations. The suspension will not be lifted until the PRN recommends that she is safe to practice with reasonable skill and safety.
In addition to the suspension, the Board ordered Krueger to pay $277.80 in investigation and prosecution costs within 180 days of her license being reinstated.
The Board also reserves the right to impose probation and specific conditions once the suspension is lifted.
