The state has officially revoked the license of an Ocala certified nursing assistant following a string of felony drug convictions and multiple probation violations.
The Florida Department of Health Board of Nursing filed a final order officially revoking the license of Chibrice N. Stanley, 35, on March 27. The decision follows an administrative complaint filed in May 2025 that initially led to the emergency suspension of her license.
According to state records, Stanley entered a plea of nolo contendere on October 24, 2023, to third-degree felony counts of possession of MDMA and possession of Alprazolam. Under Florida law, a felony conviction related to drug abuse prevention and control constitutes grounds for mandatory disciplinary action against healthcare practitioners.
The Board of Nursing held a formal hearing regarding the matter last December. The final order noted that Stanley failed to file a response to the administrative charges within the required 21-day window, thereby waiving her right to a hearing to dispute the facts of the case. As a result, the board adopted the allegations against her as formal findings of fact.
Stanley’s legal troubles began on July 29, 2023, when she was arrested during a traffic stop in Ocala after authorities discovered MDMA, Alprazolam, and marijuana in her vehicle.
Following her sentencing to probation in October 2023, on November 24, 2023, the day after Thanksgiving, Stanley was arrested for trespassing at a home on NW 8th Avenue in Ocala, violating her probation. She was not released from the Marion County Jail until February 5, 2024, according to jail records.

Ocala-News.com previously reported that Stanley’s history of incarceration includes at least eight arrests dating back to 2012.
In March 2025, Stanley was arrested on a warrant for failing to report to her probation officer. She remained incarcerated at the Marion County Jail until October 13, 2025.
With the issuance of the final order, Stanley’s license to practice as a certified nursing assistant is now permanently revoked. She has been ordered to return her physical license to the Department of Health in Tallahassee within 30 days and the state requires that she notify any healthcare employers of the revocation in writing.
