Dorothy M. Brozell, age 82, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on April 14, 2026. She was born on July 21, 1943 in Erie, Pennsylvania a daughter of Clarence and Viola Mishrell.
We will remember Dot for her super sewing skills. Making many nursery layettes sets, Halloween costumes and dresses for family and friends. She shared her love of sewing with her 4-H youth for 23 years, She served her community by being an election poll judge and working the poles since 1973. She was co-owner of Jim Brozell Contractors and BJ’s Tavern until retirement.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister Gloria Gehrlein, son in law Bob Wilson, Nephews Stephen Mishrell and Daniel Gehrlein.
Surrounded by her children, she passed peacefully. Sherry Wilson (Don), Tammy Little (Marvin), Lisa Pilliteri (Joseph); sister, Janet Smith; brother, Harry Mishrell (Yvonne); brother in law, David Gehrlein, Sr.; grandchildren Jillian and Christopher, Kristina and Melvin, Katlyn and Allison.Cherished by 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
