Two Ocala men accused of attempting to sell a pound of methamphetamine to an undercover officer have pleaded guilty to drug distribution charges.
On Tuesday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida announced that 36-year-old Reshawn Jemiah Graham and 30-year-old Tyrone Lee Pierson have pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
According to the plea documents, an undercover officer negotiated the purchase of a pound of methamphetamine with Graham on October 7, 2025. Later that day, Pierson met with the undercover officer and stated that the “source of supply for the drugs” was delayed.
On October 8, 2025, Graham contacted the undercover officer and advised that Pierson “now had the methamphetamine.”
A meeting location was arranged for the transaction. When Graham and Pierson arrived, they were met by law enforcement and placed under arrest.
At the time of his arrest, Pierson was “wearing a bag” that contained a total of 438 grams of methamphetamine, which is nearly one pound.
Pierson is facing a minimum penalty of 10 years, up to life, in federal prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Graham’s sentencing hearing is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026. He faces a minimum penalty of 15 years, up to life, in federal prison.
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, and it is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Sarah Janette Swartzberg.
