The Fort King National Historic Landmark’s series of historic cooking and crafting classes is set to return this weekend with a special class on cooking with a cob oven.
The next installment in the Historic Homesteading series will take place on Friday, May 15, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Fort King National Historic Landmark (3925 E Fort King Street, Ocala).
During Saturday’s class, participants will learn to craft their own flatbread and enjoy a sweet treat before exploring the trails at sunset.
All attendees are encouraged to bring water, bug spray, closed-toe shoes, and a headlamp or flashlight.
The class is open to all ages, and there is a $10 fee to participate.
