Lanes on a stretch of northbound Interstate 75 in Ocala are partially blocked as of this afternoon after a multi-vehicle accident was reported.

Two separate crashes occurred on I-75 in Ocala this afternoon, according to data maintained by the Florida Highway Patrol.

The first accident occurred at approximately 3:36 p.m. near mile marker 358 in the southbound lanes of I-75. Although limited details are available, that crash resulted in injuries.

No roadblocks are currently active as a result of that incident and traffic appears to be moving normally in the southbound lanes as of 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

The second accident occurred occurred near mile marker 354 in the northbound lanes of the highway. That accident also resulted in unspecified injuries.

As of 5:15 p.m., the left lanes were blocked on I-75 north, near mile marker 354, as emergency crews tend to those on the scene.

No additional details have been released about the incidents by authorities.
