I think Rock the Country is great for Ocala and worth the $50,000 grant from the county

To the Editor:

Since Rock The Country generates more than $9 million in revenue I think they are entitled to a $50,000 grant. This is my third year attending the event and I have only lived in Ocala for 3 years. People travel from all over to attend this event and it’s so much fun! We need to encourage more events like this.
