Jacqueline Horner, 78, of Ocklawaha, Florida passed away May 30, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of William “Randy” Horner, her high school sweetheart, who preceded her in death.

Jackie was born September 1, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Frederick and Ruth Ann Kasper.

Jackie worked as a receptionist in the medical field for many years. She loved the peacefulness and abundant wildlife that frequented their beautiful lake home in the Ocala National Forest. She was also an avid Florida Gator fan.

Jackie is survived by her son, Joseph “Joey” Horner; granddaughters Rachel and Jordan; three great-grandchildren; sisters Jil Rankin and Jenifer (Edward) LeVine; step mother-in-law Ethel Horner; step sister-in-law Laura Wisecarver; sister-in-law Wilma Longfellow and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Ruth Ann Kasper; husband William “Randy” Horner; brother Scott Kasper; brother-in-law Rob Rankin; in-laws William and Lula Horner; brother-in-law Bill Horner; sister-in-law Pat Wilcox; step sister-in-law Earlene Wilder.

Jackie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family will gather privately to celebrate and honor her life.
