With profound love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Hilda H. Navarro, who peacefully entered into eternal rest surrounded by the love of her family and the grace of God.
Born in Peru, Hilda and the love of her life, Jaime P. Navarro, embarked on a courageous journey to the United States in pursuit of a better life and greater opportunities for their children. Through faith, sacrifice, hard work, and unwavering determination, they built a foundation of love and hope that would bless generations to come.
A gifted seamstress, Hilda found joy in sewing and took pride in caring for those she loved. Her home was always open, her heart was always generous, and her faith in God remained steadfast throughout her life. She devoted herself to serving the Lord, supporting her church, and giving back to her community. Whether in New York, Miami, or later in Ocala, Florida, she touched countless lives through her kindness, compassion, and servant’s heart.
Above all else, family was her greatest treasure. She lovingly raised her children and helped nurture her grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of faith, strength, resilience, and unconditional love.
Hilda was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Jaime P. Navarro, and her beloved daughter, Peggy Acevedo.
She is survived by her loving sister, Elena Tumi, and brother, Manuel Hernandez; her devoted sons, Tonino Delfin, Aldo Navarro, Jaime O. Navarro, Larry A. Navarro, Luis F. Navarro, and Moises M. Navarro; along with her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by her love.
Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing that she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, whom she faithfully served throughout her life. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
