Ramon C. Upton of Ocala, Florida formerly of Elyria, Ohio passed away on June 22, 2026 in Ocala, Florida.
Ray was born in New London, Ohio to George and Thalia Upton on March 4, 1944. Ray served in the United States Army before becoming employed at the Lorain Car Releasing Company in Lorain, Ohio where he worked until retiring in 2001.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce A. Upton of Ocala, Florida, and his three sons and eight grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George H. Upton and Thalia E. Upton, and his brother George Bruce Upton.
A service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery on July 6, 2026 with the Reverend Scott Upton officiating.
