A new shop that sells retail and wholesale meat and seafood products has just opened its doors in Ocala.
La Familia Meat & Seafood celebrated its grand opening at 128 Marion Oaks Boulevard, Suite 104, in Ocala on Saturday, July 11. The new business is situated in the Marion Oaks Town Center.
Owned by Lisett Figueroa and Ismael Betancourt of Marion Oaks, La Familia Meat & Seafood sells a variety of premium meat cuts and seafood, including beef, pork, chicken, lamb, fish, shrimp, and lobster.
As its name suggests, many of the business’s products are Hispanic in nature, including tamales and fried plantains, among others.
The new business is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed on Monday.
