Bradley King Owens, aged 74, passed away on July 14, 2026, in Ocala, Florida. Born on July 24, 1951, in Dubois, Pennsylvania, Brad was the beloved son of the late William and Miriam Owens.

After graduating from high school in Arcade, New York, Brad answered the call to serve his country by joining the Marine Corps in 1976. Following his honorable service, he moved to Ocala, Florida, in 1981, where he met Janet, who would become his loving wife of 41 years.

Brad was a skilled carpenter, building not only structures but also lasting friendships and cherished memories. His interests were deeply rooted in his love for college and NFL football. A true sports enthusiast, Brad was a devoted fan of the Florida Gators and an even more passionate supporter of the Buffalo Bills.

Throughout his life, Brad found great joy in cruising with his wife, as well as enjoying the simple pleasures of spending time with family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness, cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, William and Miriam Owens. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet, his sister Sandra Leasure (Stan) of Nashville, Tennessee, his brothers William Owens of Nashville, Tennessee, Paul Owens (Willie) of Bliss, New York, and Sam Owens (Dawn) of Nashville, Tennessee. He is also mourned by his brother-in-law, Steve Spray of Ocala, Florida, sister-in-law Patti Lynn (Tommy Henderson) of Ocala, Florida, along with numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services to honor Brad’s life will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Roberts of Ocala Funerals & Cremations Downtown Chapel, with a viewing from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a service at 5:00 p.m. Please feel free to attend the burial which will take place on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 12 noon at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Ocala, Florida.

Anyone who knew Brad was indeed fortunate to have known such a wonderful, kind, and caring person. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
