Gerald Lee Rupprecht Sr.
Age 84 of Ocala Florida passed away on July 14th.

Gerald was born in Pontiac Michigan to Margaret and Anthony Rupprecht on January 19, 1942. He went to Waterford high-school then to GMI until he was drafted in in the Army in 1965. He was stationed in Germany for the Army where he was a missile specialist.

Gerry married the love of his life, Roberta (Bonnie) in 1965. He lovingly raised 3 children Teresa, Gerald Jr, and Constance in Lapeer Michigan. Gerald also had 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He loved volunteering in his community. He was an assistant Troup Leader for his son’s Troup. After retiring he volunteered in his community with C.E.R.T. where he was the leader of his area.

Gerry loved to show his humor with bad dad jokes. He also loved to dress in holiday T-shirts, hats and light up necklaces for every holiday.

Gerald loved to see the lights in Saint Augustine for Christmas.

The family would like to thank Roseanne, who helped care for Gerald for almost 10 years.

Funeral services will be held at The Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida where he will receive military honors. The graveside service will be on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at 11 a.m. Robert’s of Ocala Funeral and Cremations will be handling the arrangements.
