An AMBER Alert was issued on Monday afternoon for a 13-year-old girl who was last seen in Ocala.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Juliet Arioso was last seen in the area of the 9100 block of Southwest 27th Avenue in Ocala. Authorities believe the child may be in the company of 45-year-old Jason Castillo.
Arioso is described as a White female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Castillo is described as a 45-year-old White-Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 190 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
State authorities did not specify Castillo’s relationship to Arioso in their AMBER Alert. Investigators report that the pair may be traveling in a red 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe bearing Florida tag number “77ERLW.” Law enforcement officials noted they may be traveling in a southbound direction.
Authorities caution anyone who spots the vehicle, Arioso, or Castillo not to approach them, but to immediately contact law enforcement.
