A student at Forest High School in Ocala was arrested after he arrived late for school Monday morning.

The student had been with a female student smoking marijuana prior to their arrival at school, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

A search of the male student’s backpack turned up a Pepsi can that had been altered to be used as a bong. The can had multiple small holes and an air release valve.

The student was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and taken to the juvenile detention facility at the Marion County Jail.
