Louise L. Bradley, 91, passed away at home on April 26, 2018 in Ocala, FL. Louise was born August 12, 1926 in Demur, Mississippi and moved to Ocala from New Britain, Connecticut in 1954. She was a nurse but her love of children led her to become a Pre-K teacher at the First Assembly of God School, where she taught for many years. Louise was a member of the First Assembly of God Church where she was very involved for many years. Louise loved spending time with her family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes was cooking for her family. She loved Tai Chi, sewing and her UF Gators.
She is survived by her daughter, Bettie Bradley Bailey (Cecil); grandson, Patrick; brothers, James Paul Smith of Alabama and Floyd Smith (Patricia) of Ocala; two great grandchildren, Victoria and Kindel; grand daughter-in-law, Shannon Bailey of Ocala; current husband, Maurice Warner; 2 stepdaughters, Rebecca Stancil (Hale), Diane Wilson (Tommy); stepson, Tim (Melodie), many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Louise was predeceased by her first husband, Horace O. Bradley; son, Bobby Bradley; grandsons, Todd and Chad Bailey; brothers, Jack Smith, Andrew Smith, Ray Smith, Ernest Smith, and Sidney Smith and sister, Shirley Smith Shast.
A visitation gathering will be held 6-8 PM, Monday, April 30, 2018 at the funeral home. Funeral services will begin 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at First Assembly of God, 1827 NE 14th Street, Ocala, FL 34470 with Pastor Jeff Wade officiating.
Final entombment services will be held immediately following at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, 5050 SW 20th Street, Ocala, FL 34474.
The family invites everyone to attend a reception at First Assembly of God after the closing of entombment rites.
