Maxine Faison-Ferguson Williams known to friends as “Max or Candy was born on February 20, 1958 in Fort McCoy, Florida.
Maxine was called home to be with God on November 26, 2018 from a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her late spouse Louis Williams from Ocala, her late father Oliver Faison from Fort McCoy and survived by her mother Helen Smith from Gainesville, FL.
Maxine also a resident of Sparr, Miami and Ocala Florida and her recent residency was Gainesville Florida.
Maxine is survived by her children, Tiffany (Eddie) Hamilton of Ocala, Katirina (Nathaniel) Davis of Atlanta, Christopher Ferguson or Ocala and Jayvonta Williams of Gainesville and her longtime companion Mr. Clyde Garrison of Gainesville; she also leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother in Atlanta and brothers in Maryland; sorrowing and daughters, grandsons, great grands, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Public Viewing will be on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th St. Ocala, Florida.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at New St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 4491 NW 27th Avenue Ocala, FL 34475.
Final Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Fort McCoy, FL.
