William Hess age 98 of Ocala, passed away on February 25, 2019.
He was Co-Owner, Vice President of Hess Brothers Inc. from 1946-1995. During WWII Bill served in the 928th Engineer and aviation Regiment (Branch of Army) as a Staff Sgt. He was a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge, South River, NJ until retirement to Ocala, FL in the mid 90’s. Bill was a competitive bowler and enjoyed hunting small game.
He is survived by his companion Estelle Lee and his daughters Diane, Sandra, Laurie, and Carol and their husbands, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A service at Florida National Cemetery will be at a later date with military honors.
