A section of State Road 200 near On Top of the World Communities was closed in both directions Tuesday afternoon after a gas line break occurred.
Special Operations HAZMAT units from Marion County Fire Rescue responded to the incident near the intersection off SW 80th Ave and SR 200. Crews were working late Tuesday afternoon to cap off the leak on the two-inch gas line, which was broken while construction crews were digging in the area.
Both the eastbound and westbound lanes of SR 200 in the area remained shut down Tuesday afternoon.
