Early Learning Coalition of Marion County inviting community to celebrate COO’s retirement, meet replacement

The Early Learning Coalition of Marion County is inviting the community to celebrate the retirement of their chief operations officer (COO) and to meet her replacement.

Anita Winter, the current chief operations officer, is stepping down from the position to enter retirement. On Thursday, December 12, 2019, the group will host an open house from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at their location (2300 SW 17th Road) to celebrate the 16+ years that Winter has contributed to the ELCMC and residents of the County. ELCMC will be open to the public for anyone wanting to wish Winter farewell.

Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to meet and congratulate LatTrisha Sims, ELCMC’s current programs compliance director, who will assume the responsibilities of chief operations officer.

The Early Learning Coalition of Marion County provides access to quality early learning programs that nurture a student’s learning potential and prepares him/her for educational success.
