The third Southern Pig and Cattle Company is coming to Maricamp Road and nearing completion.
The restaurant, which has two other locations in Stuart and Ocala (6105 SW SR 200), will be located along Maricamp Road at just north of Forest High School. Construction crews have erected the building and are working briskly towards completion.
Southern Pig and Cattle Company’s menu includes a variety of steaks, premium smoked meats, and an endless salad bar. The current locations are open Monday through Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A variety of new businesses have been sprouting up all along the Maricamp corridor in recent months. Waffle House will look to open a new location just south of the new Southern Pig and Cattle. Last month, Wawa opened its fifth location (3080 SE Maricamp Rd) to add to its growing collection in Ocala. In December, Papa Pineapples took over a location formerly occupied by Cup Of The Irish.
