Single-day fees at all Marion County parks are being waived.
Marion County commissioners approved the plan Tuesday during an emergency meeting on the COVID-19 virus. Equipment rentals, facility deposits and all other fees still apply.
The parks where the fees have been waived include:
- Carney Island Recreation and Conservation Area, 13275 SE 115th Ave., Ocklawaha
- Gores Landing, 13800 NE 98th St., Fort McCoy
- Hampton Beach, 14600 SE 134th Road, Ocklawaha
- Horseshoe Lake Park and Retreat, 23532 NE 110th Ave., Fort McCoy
- KP Hole Park, 9435 SW 190th Ave. Road, Dunnellon
- Moss Bluff North Boat Ramp, 16298 SE 95th Place, Ocklawaha
- Moss Bluff South Boat Ramp, 16255 SE 96th Lane Road, Ocklawaha
- Ray Wayside Park, 9560 NE 28th Lane, Silver Springs
