The congregation of Christ the King Anglican Church Ocala recently came together to pay tribute to area healthcare workers.
The group traveled to Ocala Regional Medical Center and West Marion Community Hospital on April 14 to thank them for their dedicated work throughout the COVID-19 crises. Two of the members held up a sign that read “God Bless You and Thank You All!” while others in their vehicles blinked their headlights to show support.
Many of the healthcare workers, wearing masks, came outside to hear the positive message of thanks that was being read to them. Some also filmed the tribute on their cell phones and offered their own words of thanks.
