A Jacksonville man is behind bars after allegedly threatening to shoot up a local recreational area and exposing his sexual organs to a juvenile.

Bradley Dewayne Eibach, 25, was arrested late Saturday afternoon at the Salt Springs Recreational Complex in Fort McCoy. He was charged with two counts of battery, indecent exposure of sexual organs, possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana not more than 20 grams. He was being held on $20,000 bond and is due in court June 23 at 9 a.m.

Multiple witnesses reported a physical disturbance at the recreational complex in natural spring area after Eibach allegedly made the shooting threats, exposed himself to the juvenile, battered and spit on the victims and brandished a handgun. Staff members at the complex ushered victims behind a building to take cover, a Marion County sheriff’s office report states.

When sheriff’s deputies arrived at the complex, they found Eibach walking toward the camping area. They ordered him to the ground in an attempt to take him into custody. He initially didn’t comply with their commands but eventually tossed aside the handgun he was holding and a sheriff’s sergeant was able to safely take him into custody.
