Chicken Salad Chick is building a new location in Ocala.
The popular chicken salad chain is currently constructing its newest location along SR 200, just south of Yamato Japanese Restaurant. In 2016, Chicken Salad Chick built its first location in the tri-county area at La Plaza Grande in The Villages.
Chicken Salad Chick prides itself on being another option in the fast-casual dining space, specializing in homemade soups, salads and sides. The menu includes some of the traditional chicken salad options in the form of the Classic Carol and Olivia’s Old South, as well as savory, spicy, and fruity and nutty flavor options. For vegetarians, pimento cheese salad and egg salad are available.
In addition to chicken salad, the restaurant prepares a variety of other types of salads including a broccoli salad and a grape salad. Chicken Salad Chick also serves all of its salads in sandwich form or with a croissant.
Although the new location has yet to release its hours, currently, the Chicken Salad Chick in The Villages operates from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
