Ocala City Manager Sandra Wilson and Marion County Supervisor of Elections Wesley Wilcox will headline an upcoming town hall meeting.
The meeting, which is being hosted by the Governor’s West Ocala Neighborhood Revitalization Council, will take place at the Ed Croskey Center (1510 NW 4th St) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 8.
All candidates recently elected in 2020 and candidates running in the November election are invited to attend.
According to the group, Wilcox will discuss election updates, voter registration deadlines, information on restoration of rights for felons and voter turnout.
Wilson plans to speak on her vision for the city of Ocala and current projects and revitalization efforts taking place throughout West Ocala.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed during the event. Masks will be available and attendees will be encouraged to wear them. Seating is limited.
