Earth Fare has reopened its Ocala location under new ownership.
The health and wellness supermarket previously closed over 50 locations in February, including the city’s only location at 2405 SW 27th Ave. in the Shady Oaks Shopping Center.
In March, a group of investors that included a former Earth Fare CEO made a push to procure as many of the closed locations as possible.
As a result, the nearly 30,000-square-foot space was able to reopen its doors with relatively little delay.
“You will find many of the same trusted brands and house-made specialties back in our store, and we are adding some new ones,” said David Isinghood, chief operations officer, in a press release by RD Management LLC, a privately held real-estate company that signed the lease for the Ocala location.
According to the local store’s Facebook page, all customers during the COVID-19 pandemic are required to wear face coverings, although masks will be provided free of charge to those customers in need.
The new store hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day. For more information, visit Earth Fare Ocala.
