Donald Wayne Prescott, 76 of Ocala, FL passed away with his family by his side on Friday, December 25, 2020. Don was born in Winter Haven, FL and was a lifelong Florida resident.
Don moved to Ocala in 1988 from New Port Richey, FL. He retired from Roberts Funeral Homes as the managing funeral director and loved to do wood working projects for others.
Don was also a devoted Gators fan through the thick and thin years. He is a past Master of the Masonic Lodge #146 Pearl of the West, New Port Richey, FL.
He is survived by his devoted wife Barbara (Brown) Prescott of Ocala, FL, son Steve Prescott and companion Yvonne Stewart of Spring Hill, FL, sister Lucille Richardson of GA, two grandchildren Jorden and Tyler, one great granddaughter Ava, as well as numerous other beloved family and friends.
The family will be gathering at Good Shepard Memorial Gardens on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 1pm to 2pm with Don’s celebration of life service starting at 2pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Don’s life. The family will be observing social distancing for the services. Please dress casually and wear your favorite team colors if you wish as Don hated suits and ties!
