The Ocala Recreation and Parks and a collection of other city departments are encouraging residents to apply for some of the many job openings that accompany the summer season.
With the summer season quickly approaching, amenities and facilities across the city will be open for business, including the popular aquatic centers. As a result, the Ocala Recreation and Parks team is looking to hire multiple positions, including lifeguards, customer service attendants, and recreational aides.
In addition to the part time summer jobs, the city also has openings across a wide array of fields, including law enforcement, building and safety, public works, and forensics, to name a few. Career positions with the city range in pay, skill and experience requirements, with some requiring higher levels of technical experience.
